Holy smokes, didn’t realize there was a new season of this going.

I searched for a thread and didn’t see one, so maybe this is the official thread!

he Ultimate Fighter returns with a thrilling new season featuring a pair of UFC Hall of Famers competing head-to-head as coaches, when former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier goes up against former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. The series will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Latin America and Australia on Sunday, June 14, the same day as UFC Freedom 250, with new episodes premiering every Tuesday for the remainder of the 12-episode season.

The Ultimate Fighter: Team Cormier vs. Team Bisping will feature 16 men’s bantamweight (135 lbs.) and women’s strawweight (115 lbs.) prospects competing to pursue their UFC dreams.

Produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television, the iconic reality series has introduced a wide array of fans to UFC and served as a springboard for the career of numerous fighters who went on to be UFC champions and stars, including: Kamaru Usman, Tony Ferguson, T.J. Dillashaw, Rose Namajunas, Nate Diaz, Michael Chiesa, Kelvin Gastelum, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Uriah Hall and Conor McGregor, who was a coach in TUF 22 and TUF 31.

One of four athletes to ever hold two UFC titles simultaneously, Cormier intends to make a statement in his third time coaching on The Ultimate Fighter following his debut on Season 27. He will look to impart the skills and experience that earned him notable victories over Stipe Miocic, Anderson Silva and Alexander Gustaffson. Cormier now has his sights set on shutting out Bisping as a coach in dominant fashion.

The Ultimate Fighter season 3 winner, Bisping returns for a third time to coach on the show that helped forge him into a UFC champion and Hall of Famer. Making his coaching debut on Season 14, Bisping now looks to once again impart the trademark grit and high fight IQ that earned him memorable victories over Anderson Silva, Luke Rockhold, and Dan Henderson. He now aims to out coach Cormier and lead his team to victory

Have you watched any yet? Is it worth watching? Im not sure how i feel about them moving to the format of coaches not fighting at the end. I discovered mma and ufc just before the first season so im very sentimental about TUF.

I watched episode 1.

They stuck to the TUF formula, 1 little change on the team selection.

A couple of the shitty home videos about two of the fighters, and them a WMMA fight.

Bantamwe8ght men and strawweight women this season.

DC is a pretty good coach. He’s actually useful to his fighters during the first 2 fights, and his intruction/scouting report to his guy before the fight on episode 2 was great.

Bisping is more of the " ok you need to go hard now kind of coach".

I still think Matt Serra was the best coach in terms of cornering that the show has ever had.

I have to give the nod to Chael on season 17 vs Jon Jones.
