Darren Till skips UFC comeback, books bare knuckle fight for BKFC on May 30...
UFC and Misfits veteran Darren Till signs multi-fight deal with BKFC and will make his debut against an opponent to be named on May 30 in Birmingham, UK.
Darren Till has parted ways with Misfits Boxing.
The former UFC welterweight title challenger announced his departure earlier today on social media but insists he left on “extremely good terms” and hopes to make his return at some point in the future — assuming Misfits matchmakers can find opponents for the 33 year-old “Gorilla.”
“It’s time to try my hand at something else,” Till said. “Not a lot of people wanted to fight me. It was getting really hard to get fights. So, in the next few days, I’m going to have a massive announcement, some massive news. I’m sure you’re all going to be excited to see what I’m going to announce. And I just want to say again thanks to Misfits, thanks to everyone involved, and I’ll probably be back there soon as well — this is not the end of it with Misfits. Peace and love.”
Till went 3-0 under the Misfits Banner with victories over Anthony Taylor, Darren Stewart, and Luke Rockhold, the latter of which scored Till the Misfits Boxing bridgerweight title. “The Gorilla” also registered one fight for Social Knockouts in his post-UFC fighting career, which began in early 2023.
No word yet on where Till will end up in 2026 but a UFC return is certainly an option. We also don’t know if Netflix will stage another MMA event after next month’s “Rousey vs. Carano” card so that leaves PFL and bare knuckle boxing … unless this upstart promotion finally gets off the ground.
Stay tuned.
If in the interim he didn’t learn how to grapple, he will come back to get his ass kicked by any number of chinstrap beard Neanderthals.

He’ll go to MVP or maybe even BKFC before he goes to UFC. UFC ain’t gonna pay him millions, he was never a big name.
this
MVP is gonna snatch every UFC fighter who’s old or towards the end of their career. They’re not gonna do anything for up and cummers with no name value
MVP will eventually go the way of Strikeforce.
Yeah, I’m not saying they’re in it for the long run or to build the sport. But they’re gonna get every name UFC let’s slip away.
He’ll go to MVP or maybe even BKFC before he goes to UFC
