Cool little interview. Both guys were very gracious, including Tito to Ken. I like seeing these guys getting along. I also like how Ken picked “Guthrie” lol.

I laughed at that too. Did you know that UFC I took place in 1776 was attended by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams and featured Horace Guthrie vs Chief Jimmerson, and Indian Shawman who wore a bee’s nest on one hand? Different times for sure. We’ve come a long way.

I met Tito, Ken, Royce and Fedor at a Bellator fan thing at a Dave and Buster’s. I was basically at the end of the line with my bro and another buddy. They announced they’d be closing in 15 minutes or whatever and it looked like the end of the line wasn’t going to get any autographs.
Tito got up and went to the back of the line with his promo pics and started signing stuff and taking pictures with everyone. Tito was bigger than Fedor too. I’d guess 235lbs and jacked.
Everyone ended up getting a signed picture from the 4 fighters. Ken and Royce didn’t even look up. I gave Fedor a first bump (I also shook Norm MacDonald hand after a comedy set one time).

That’s very cool. There’s a lot to criticize Tito for, but he definitely appreciates his fans and always has.
He also MADE my buddy take a picture with him at the first UFC Boston (Toney vs Couture). Tito asked if he wanted a pic (I assume my friend was in awe of his melon and staring) and my friend said no. The way he told me was Tito basically put an arm around his shoulder and pulled him in to take a pic. He was a Tito hater and Chuck super fan but after than he’s been a Tito fan for life. Said it was the best experience with any fighter there.
