But, I would be talking nonsense as well if on Vicoden and Valium. Hell, I didn’t even think docs could prescribe those 2 together. Benzos and Opiates are the junkie mixture that have killed so many.

Just doing pretty light gym BJJ for 10 years has created issues with my back, hips. Nothing serious just old man aches at this point.

It’s Florida, very easily written, especially under Tito’s conditions of pain/surgery.
It could have easily happened with me and benzos over a decade ago. My primary care doc started prescribing me xanax, 1mg 3 times a day over one minor anxiety type event one morning after leaving the gym and getting to work. I say minor now but at the time I thought I was dying. I actually traced it back to my pre-workout mix after a couple more times and looking into that specific brand/formula.
Anyway, doc would have kept me on that xanax bs forever I’m sure if I hadn’t brought up concerns to him about some of severe addiction stuff I had started reading about. Like, “it can kill you coming off it”. Freaked me the fuck out, plus I was like a zombie on that shit. I told him I needed off ASAP and he moved me over to a weaker benzo to wean me off. No doubt I could have easily gone down a dark road with bad outcomes had I just blindly trusted the doc and continued to take it.
Still crazy to me the dosage he put me on right off the bat with no questions, over one incident.
Docs are much tighter on prescribing that shit now for sure but not 14 years ago. Hopefully Tito has good care that is looking out for his dumb ass. Still seems like something no doc would prescribe together. Really odd.

That’s wild. I didn’t think they could even be prescribed together. That combo can kill you with a quickness. You just go to sleep and stop breathing. I’ve seen it, unfortunately, too many times.
