Gane was absolutely using Jon Jones tactics in that fight but why wouldn’t he? The “GOAT” has used them every fight and never lost a point for doing it.

Come to think of it today’s hw division sucks but Stipes reign also sucked. He was a terrible fighter who just got by with cardio and a chin in a terrible division full of 40 year olds

Just cause they are big athletes doesn’t mean they have the heart or balls to fight. It’s not the same thing as throwing a ball around a field. We see what just happened to Tom Aspinal. Big athletic guy can dish out punishment. The minute his opponent starts to hit back he folds. Same would happen to these big nfl or nba guys players

Sure but the best athletes at the lighter weights have little professional sports opportunities so there is your discrepancy in talent at heavy
Heavyweights aren’t going to be good and plentiful without steroids. Very few men are over 230 lbs with the cardio required for mma without steroids. If you think otherwise you’re naive. Yes there are some, but most people don’t want to fight for a living.

Not sure why Gane has to be the fight, didn’t deserve the shot in the first place and made a mess of the Main Event. He should be penalized and relegated to lower fights, don’t want a champ who “fights” like that.

The Werdum fight was weird. He was trying to do those masks of his face with the fans the day of the fight, got into it with the UFC, came running out weirdly after Stipe and got blasted. He didn’t fight anything like the dude that beat Hunt and Cain, but he’s a weird fighter

Honestly, the eye poke shit is bullshit. Gane was extending his hand out with fingers straight just like Jones. They were gonna start using gloves like in Pride and Jones threatened to stop fighting if they did and Dana cucked to him just like he has done over and over. Dana should have dropped him from the roster because of his outside the cage behavior a long time ago.
