Neither one is appropriate IMO. But three dudes in dresses briefly going shirtless in a 58 second video ( with no children around them ) didn’t cost taxpayers millions of dollars & tear up the White House lawn. Both events were/are carnival-like events that should have been held elsewhere.

Of course I will. I’ve been a die hard MMA fan since UFC 1 back in November of 1993. And my missing two very important fights in some meaningless boycott would change nothing. Plus, it could be historic for all the wrong reasons. I think it’s ridiculous that Trump is engaging in what amounts to a high-risk stunt in order to stroke his own ego.
I thought he needed the Golden Ballroom for security reasons? Yet he’s going to be cageside not only endangering himself, but also the spectators near him & the fighters as well.
I think it’s ridiculous & asking for trouble.

What a.i. says. The UFC and its parent company, TKO Group Holdings, are paying for the entire event. UFC CEO Dana White and TKO executives confirmed that taxpayer money is not being used, and the promotion expects to absorb an estimated $60 million in construction and production costs.
As for security, it will be trumps security team plus the White House team, most would be working regardless of this event in one location or another. This isn’t costing us millions but the UFC is going to take a 30 million dollar hit in the end.
I read an interview where it was said the ufc is paying to repair the lawn where damaged. We can wait until the dust settles on the end bill I guess.
Now the risk is real but if security is positioned properly for once it shouldn’t be an issue. Trump also should be behind bullet proof glass just in case.
In the end I say this isn’t as bad as people are saying, it’s the countries 250th and we can have a summer of celebration in an extravagant way, hopefully it’s a good night of fights and it goes down without any lunatic leftist taking shots.
Edit: also, three men topless for 58 seconds? The freaks had full top surgery. Far too much, you kinda under sold that.

MMA, at one point nearly banned out of existence, will be THE most talked about and watched event next Sunday. Worldwide repercussions and exposure. Can it hurt Trump with all the bad press sure to come out of it? Of course.
But why MMA FANS on here are not thrilled is just insane. Just like spoiled brats having tantrums.
