Always saying that a card can’t suck until it’s over, mainly when it has fighters that not many people care about.

But the UFC needs to push the younger guy in Ilia. They’re building a star for the next few years, Strickland’s much more fun but too old or too unhinged for them to truly get behind
Matt Serra finished GSP, crazy upsets have happened. Although I highly doubt it but maybe Ilia going through an ugly breakup will fuck with his head and Justin catches him. Ilia is the far better boxer but Justin can KO anyone.

Pereira, Gaethje, Topuria, Suga… they are current stars. No, it’s not what Conor used to be but they are stars. But the opponents… Zahabi instead of Sandhagen? Daukaus?
The UFC doesn’t have many stars to begin with. They are sorely lacking in that department right now.

There are fights they could have made and they either chose not to do them or couldn’t get them done. They should have been sucking Jones dick to get a deal done. They should have got the Conor chandler fight on there. Rousey carano are fighting they should have got that fight. Is rousey still signed to wwe? Aren’t they all one company? Failing all that throw some hail Mary and get a huge name/crossover to debut.
