Not epic like they promised with Conor and Jones and unicorns.
But Topuria and Perreia are the 2 most exciting fighters in MMA today by far. Putting both on one card means we probably get a couple great finishes.

Did Dana really have some great fight fall through the day before this announcement or was that so he can deflect and say he had some great fight planned that pulled out right before the announcement?
Either way, it’s a pretty awesome card but I’ll admit it lacks that blockbuster feel we all expected.

Kinda wished they had played it down a bit so it would be like an annual thing. Like an exhibition. A tradition.

Honestly, I think the play is to have another sport also have a white house event next year. Like an NHL hockey game or MLB game or some shit. This both legitimizes the UFC at that other sports level and legitimizes having events at the white house so it isn’t just a one time clownshow. Just sayin.
