Did you mean to post only 32 seconds? Got more? I’d watch it.

Not yet. I am figuring out how I want to record. Have either Steam or GeForce available for this game, but have to config the correct settings for video size. Then just make a YouTube channel for video clips I guess…but then I would not need to resize then I guess.

I dislike video editing and one of the reasons why I stopped flying drones.

This game is pretty fun now.

Awesome! I’m glad to hear you think the game is improved and at an alright spot right now. I’m enjoying it.

Is that a custom fighter you’re using? I know @onepunchJD is interested in the custom fighters.

No sir.

I am not.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Lawrence Okolie.

Lawrence can throw, his stamina is pretty good.

Usyk speed kills.

Sorry about the misnaming earlier.

Maybe you can educate me. Why does it say Mikhail on the back of his shorts?

I am not sure..it is the default trunks.

Edit: quick search shows zip.

Great eye guy in catching that.

Mikhail Gorbachev?? Weird to put that on the trunks.

Plus, I need to get some DLC to support this dev team. They did turn it around.

Hell yes, it’s supporting the game plus I love DLC for games like this.

Do you use Usyk a lot? I think he’s cool, but I’m a big Frazier fan, and I like Marciano a lot too, and I like swarmers in general. So, I like to fight against Usyk, but I like him at the same time.

I fight him with Marciano at cruiserweight mostly, but I should fight him soon with Frazier at heavyweight.

Hopefully it’s a little love for Gorby.

I use Rocky, Tommy, or Joe Frazier for HW mostly. Fury can be fun with his specials.

Sometimes I will play random to check out other boxers. They do fight different it seems.

Also, I will play hard mode, over the shoulder camera, with sticks. Seeing Morrison face getting angry like a bull and then swarming with killer hooks is kind of terrifying.

I use the sticks too. Hespec.

I find it helps me not to spam punches. I like hard, but like to see my stamina easily.

Been learning how to slip, and trying g directional punching. Need to watch and play tutorial.

Did you try career mode?

I haven’t tried career mode. I don’t know anything about directional punching and I want to learn it. I see it mentioned in the “tips” at the bottom of the screen when the game is loading. I need to figure that out.

Directional punches in the boxing video game Undisputed are punches thrown while simultaneously holding a directional input on the left stick. This causes the fighter to move at a 45-degree angle relative to the opponent while throwing the punch, allowing for repositioning and angle advantage during fights. It is a key mechanic for creating space, setting up counterpunches, avoiding attacks, and controlling ring position. Mastery of directional punching involves understanding the timing, punch animations, and how different fighters’ punches work with these movements.

In Undisputed, players can throw punches in four directions, and combining the punch with directional inputs shifts the boxer around the ring dynamically. This simulates realistic footwork and angles, unlike many boxing games with more static movement. Directional punches also help in counterpunching by allowing players to dodge into openings and quickly land shots like lead hooks or power straights. For example, dodging a jab with a directional punch to the side can expose the opponent for a damaging counterattack.

This mechanic is important for handling spammers of power punches online, where proper use of directional punches and defensive movements like dodging and weaving can neutralize aggression and create opportunities to outbox the opponent. Players should learn to use directional punches not just as offensive tools but also as part of defensive strategy by moving off the center line and avoiding heavy shots.

Overall, directional punches enable fluid ring movement, strategic positioning, and effective counters in Undisputed, elevating gameplay beyond traditional button-mashing mechanics.

Fighters that excel at using directional punches effectively in Undisputed tend to be those with good speed, balanced power, and strong counterpunching abilities. Some mentions and community observations highlight the following:

Fighters like Marcos Maidana and Juan Manuel Marquez are known for excellent directional punching because of their ability to land counter shots and utilize hooks effectively when moving around the ring.

Outside fighters who rely on speed and stamina such as Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Roy Jones Jr. use directional punches to create space, avoid aggression, and respond with precise counters. Their movement and ability to throw rapid jabs and hooks make good use of directional punches.

Fighters with quick power jabs also have an advantage in using directional punches to disrupt the opponent’s rhythm and set up combos. The power jab is cited as efficient in creating openings while moving.

Players mention using combinations like a forward body jab followed by a backward straight for outside fighting, and sideways hooks when inside, which synergizes well with directional punch mechanics.

Additionally, fighters with the ability to effectively dodge and weave, combining this with directional punches, are very effective at controlling the pace and position in fights.

In summary, fighters good at counterpunching, using hooks, and with quick jabs excel at directional punches, often including Marquez, Maya (Maidana), and iconic outside fighters like Roy Jones Jr., Muhammad Ali, and Sugar Ray Leonard.

LLM are great at video games guides.

I remember calling game hotlines as a kid to get hints and tips…like at 2.99$ a mintues.

Thanks man. I have to try some of that! Do you know if it’s worthwhile for inside fighters/swarmers?

I wish we could get some OG matches going!

I have a “go-to” fighter that I like a lot in every weight class.

I would happily let any of you pick the weight class.

^ I don’t mean to sound cocky, just that I have a fighter in every weight class that I’m enthusiastic about using.
