Usyk is great, really great. Heās got some great victories over very good fighters. Heās flawless and a class act. Itās tough to truly judge between eras for many reasons.
Are Fury, Joshua, Dubois, Chisora, Bellew as good as some of the fighters perennial greats have beaten? Guys like Holmes, Holyfield, Tyson, Kilitchko, Bowe, Norton, Foreman, Frazier, Liston? No, I donāt think so. I wouldnāt say Usyk fought in a weak era. I actually think itās really pretty good. Beating Fury and Joshua to me is more impressive than very tough guys like, Mercer, Morrison, Tua, Rahman, Cooney, Maskaev, Quarry, Walcott, Charles. Etc.

Damn near everyone, myself included thought Tyson Fury would have beaten him by a fair margin. And he proved us very wrong.
So heās done the best anyone could possibly do against all competition of his era.
I was worried heād get caught against Dubois who was throwing with heavy hands only to put Dubois out fairly quickly.
Ali is most peopleās goat be he took several Ls. People say he washed because of his age. Same with Joe Louis and several others.
Yet here is Usyk at 38 years old and dominating.

I think Ali as the GOAT is most people being nostalgic or looking at his prime mostly. Given that a few years of his peak were wasted it sorta makes sense.
He is not my GOAT by any stretch.
