36 Chambers movie is up there. The one where the kid has his village raided, goes to train at the Shaolin temple for a year, then returns to his village to kick all their asses.

There’s a ton of other great ones I’ve forgotten about. The Drunken Master movies with Jackie Chan, Duel to the Death, just about every Bruce Lee movie. I used to watch so many of these as a kid, but the UFC kind of ruined it for me.

i gotta put a vote in for karate kid. i think the second one where he went to japan and met the chick there really stuck for me. i can still hear the out of pitch soundtrack from the damaged vhs tape in my mind.
