the Gracie JiuJitsu/MMA REVOLUTION was a NECESSARY to the Arts of Self Defense…but NOW that it has been Assimilated and it seems that upon REFLECTION that the idea that TMA had no value was going TOO FAR
as for myself, I enjoy practicing TAI CHI and through this practice have RECOGNIZED the value of TMA kata practice as a method of FUN training not different from other such supplemental activities as KettleBells, Weight-Training, Plyos, etc.
And there is something really COOL about performing a KATA when done with meditative intent & focus that manifests itself in the physical expression
