He could have absolutely won. He was acting over the top because it was another fight vs some random up and comer that he couldn’t get motivated for. Same thing with Jones, the only fights he has ever looked bad in were against guys that were written off by the fans and media, and guys that at that point were DETERMINED to be the one to win.

I actually do believe Izzy is and was the more well rounded fighter. They literally fought and Izzy won. He also took it easy on Silva out of respect. I know Izzy acts like pansy but you can’t deny he’s the better of the two.

Silva Won 16 in a row in the UFC across two weight classes, fell apart at about 38, Stylebender won 9 in a row and fell apart at 33.
Guys like Chael And Forest Would get Stylebender to the mat and crush him. So would Weidman, Vitor would probably Blitz him out of there and there isn’t much he could do to Hendo but try to land meaningless shots And run

lol 38 years old is definitely the prime for MMA fighters, Anderson fucked around and got caught. Takes nothing away from his achievements.
Something not already mentioned, Anderson had one of the best UFC debuts also. “Send him back to Japan where the competition is easier”. A complete one sided obliteration followed by the air mariachi celebration. EPIC.
