I’ll be cheering for Lewis all the way, but I’m afraid Derrick will get overwhelmed by that idiot’s superior speed & volume. But Hokit is easy to hit & all Lewis needs is one shot to end things.
So, hopefully Derrick is in good shape & motivated as hell because if he does another belly flop after getting hit, like he did last time out, I’m going to be really fucking disappointed.

I kind of agree.. after rewatching the blades fight hokit actually got hit a decent amount and left himself open too much. Lewis seems in better shape than he has recently and it only takes one shot. Talk about an all time backfire if hokit gets brutally KOd his entire schtick is gone

If the paddy fight Justin shows up, he’s getting ko’d.

How in shape is Lewis? He has a tendency to just stand there with not much out put as his tank fades.

Having said that… I want both to win via ko

Lewis has the better chance for a big shot, followed by cover up strikes- tko stoppage. Dont see Hokit getting flat lined via one shot

Justin has the one shot ko potential, as topuria can leave some openings, and is the smaller fighter.

One would think Hokit would immediately look for a takedown, but maybe he tries to boost his value by trying to replicate his last fight and goes to sleep as a result.

I heard he has said in one of the pre-fight interviews he is not planning on fighting the same style. He is fully aware of the KO power Lewis has and was not concerned with that in the Blaydes fight. Makes me think he is going to go wrestling heavy.

I think that Lewis is effectively retired. He looks like he doesn’t train. His puncher’s chance comes in the first minute or not at all.

Gaethje, on the other hand, is the bigger fighter with good stamina in his prime. He has the better chance of catching Topuria.

I don’t know man. I feel like Lewis has looked in pretty good shape the last few fights. We’ve also seen his power still present in the 3rd round.
