Frank Shamrock’s story is one of the wildest in MMA history.
From a troubled childhood, juvenile homes and prison, to becoming one of the first truly complete mixed martial artists, Frank rebuilt his life through fighting. He became King of Pancrase, the UFC’s first Middleweight Champion, the inaugural WEC Light Heavyweight Champion and the inaugural Strikeforce Middleweight Champion.
But behind the belts was a life filled with family conflict, addiction, broken relationships, battles with Ken Shamrock, a long-running feud with Dana White, and later concerns about the damage fighting may have done to his brain.
This documentary looks at the full story of Frank Shamrock — his rise, his fallouts, his championships, and the people who helped turn Frank Juarez into Frank Shamrock.
Et All
Frank Shamrock was awesome in his day.
Dana White is a fake tough guy POS.
Frank Shamrock was the best fighter in the world before he walked away the first time. Dude was crushing everyone. I used to think he looked unbeatable watching him when I was a kid.

PS that Strikeforce cage was fucking gigantic.
He was the greatest for a very short period around the Tito fight, the pulled a Rouce Gracie and dipped out.
He stopped fighting to blow Bob shamrock some more.
Disgusting he’s not in the UFC HoF…
Frank was far superior to Ken.
Nick Diaz made him quit.
And he left his dog at the airport. Fuck this guy.,
His best win was against Jeremy horn, imo.
100%
didnt think he was beatable
first mma guy that impressed me with how well rounded he was
well the dog was probably being annoying
I remember the rumors 20+ years ago he was coming back. This was years before he showed up in Strikeforce. People couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t, I remember somebody saying his back was fucked it something.
So many fights we didn’t get. Surprised Diaz beat him. Him pointing to Baroni and making the International sign for sleep before KO’ing him was insane
I downloaded this shit either on dial up or with my first badass internet connection, I’m talking about 1.5 meg DSL
He was one of first MMA guys you could point to and say “see! this sport has skilled athletic proper professionals in it” . A blueprint for later fighters, basically.
