Yankees Fans

Things were mended after they won in 2016. Bartman was sent a world series championship ring. I am not sure if he has attended a game since but it appears to be water under the bridge.

Maybe a Cubs fan knows if he has returned to Wrigley?

Interesting. They are only banned for tonight’s game as of now. I wonder if they are allowed to sell those tickets or do those seats remain empty tonight?

Good to hear, i thought that guy was treated unfairly.

Bartman wasn’t the only one reaching for that ball, but he caught all the grief. Years later Alou said he wasn’t going to be able to catch it.

He got a ring, but I don’t think he’s been back to Wrigley. He still received death threats after the Cubs won the World Series in 2016.

A friend of mine worked with Bartman when it happened. They had death and bomb threats at their office the following days and had to have police stationed outside,

Fun Fact- In 2016 when the Cubs won, Jason Kipnis was playing for Cleveland. Bartman was one of his neighbors when he was growing up.

Probably to help the guy out. He definitely looked like he would have caught it if they backed off

No he has not. But fuck him and his down syndrome kid headphones wearing in public ass.

When that happened, we called it “The Curse of the Headphoned Dork”.

He wore headphones because he liked listening to the Cubs radio broadcast at games.

Which makes him an even bigger dork, because listening to Ron Santo was the auditory version of dysentery

Listening to headphones at the ballpark is faggot stuff. I hate him more for that than the interference

Edit lol. It’s fake. Chris is just fucking with his buddy.

Is there such a thing as a heterosexual baseball fan?

They said they refunded them the tickets, so sound like the Yankees gonna resell them themselves.

Only banned for tonight is bullshit though, I like how MLB and the PA are going to “monitor the situation” so if the Yankees don’t go with something more stringent there may be a fine or sanction involved hopefully.

If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s fans involving or interrupting the game. Chirp all you want, interact even with outfielders, that’s fine. But you don’t go on the field, and you definitely don’t put hands on a player or interfere with play. And any hoople-headed moron who does so should receive a lifetime ban from the entire league.

If that’s anything close to an accurate portrayal of how New Yorkers feel about what these two guys did, it’s tantamount to saying “We New Yorkers love and respect childish man bitches who commit shameful unsportsmanlike acts and disgrace our city in front of millions of sports fans.”

To these guys: Nice job reinforcing the perception that New Yorkers are rude, arrogant fucks.
