looks like amine dropped his bronze medal match to GEO 3-3 on criteria…
Is Amine wrestling for the US or San Marino?

looking at greco draws and just noticed this…
UWW rankings are not really rankings per se, but, still top 10 in the world is pretty cool from a dad perspective…
It was his brother. He won an Olympic bronze.
That is awesome!
And, as always, appreciate your work on these international tournaments.
Thank you for all the updates. You keep me more informed on the international tournaments than anywhere else.

Chiming in from wrestling practice.
I had a female mma fighter/grappler for a while that was a state champion in Maryland. She was not very good at wrestling and knew it lol. She was lifelong gymnast so she was gorilla strong relative to other highschool girls, so she would just wait for other girls to take a bad shot, sprawl and tilt from turtle, or get a collar tie and yeet them with snaps or throw bys.
Ended up being really good at BJJ but not at all because of her wrestling background. I got her on a Greco style and her upper body takedowns got good.
She said women’s wrestling was garbage lol. I asked her once why she didn’t tell us she was a state champion wrestler and she said “oh, it doesn’t matter. It was against girls. I had a losing record in the regular season against boys, wrestling girls was so easy.”
I am a true wrestling snob…
I do not like to dog on anyone in any style too much just purely because I know how hard this sport is at every level…
It literally never gets any easier…
Anyone who takes the mat deserves respect and that is how I have chosen to look at it…
Man (woman) in the arena type stuff…
As an aside…
I think it should be noted that competition with the best on the planet, Hawkeye wrestling club the only club in America to come away with gold in these two ranking series…
Not NLWC…
Not CWC…
