Cyril gonna dance around until Alex gets tired. He’s too big, if he can end it in 4 minutes he’s fucked

I like this beefy ass Alex. Crazy after rewatching some of his older fights seeing how thick he is now. The power will be nice but I do worry about his chin at HW.

We’ll see. He may not need it much if he has nice speed advantage over Gane.

The fight is a toss up imo. People acting like Alex just walks through Gane are off imo.

At least the bookmakers seem to have a clue.

Alex’s boxing better be on point or he’s getting starched.

If he thinks he can just move forward and rely on lean-backs and parrying, he’s fucked. Head straight up, nope

Gane wins via footwork

His striking looks on par with Stephen A. Smith in that clip

Im rooting for alex but thats a lot of fucking weight to put on and then fight someone thats been weighing that much for however long. I feel like him and his team were just like “fuck it, you can put on as much weight as you want” when in my professional opinion, (which is EXTREMELY professional given my streetbeefs background) they should have dialed it in at 225 to 240ish?

Still rooting for alex though

Lol

This reminds me of that video of Ted Cruz playing basketball, it’s so funny that any time I see it posted I watch it

One thing I’ve noticed about the guys that move up to heavyweight is they put on way too much weight. He seems around the size of Arlovski, slightly skinnier, so I think 235-240 would be best

(Basically I agree with you)

I also think 235-240 is the best weight for heavyweight. Vast majority of champions have been between 225-245

He did seem a bit slow on the mitts to but maybe that was at the end of a workout or something. Im by far not an expert but his punches looked low to? Like hes gonna build a habit to have his hands down. Maybe thats just how he looks hitting mitts?

Rooting for Alex and I think he’ll win, but I’m not sure all of this weight helps him.

He always looks like that when he’s hitting mitts. He does look slow though.

I’m not a coach or anything but I would think getting him in a normal camp and then not doing a weight cut would be the best plan. He’s still fast and agile and at a weight he is used to being at. Being at a new weight seems like it will bring on more problems than advantages.

Looked super slow at first, but the last half of that round his power looked scary.. I do worry about his chin though…

I got Alex, and ready for a SN bet
