258 pound Alex P hitting mitts

I’d like to see Alex at about 230 or 235 at heavyweight.

Idk who will win but I picked Gane to even up the poll a little haha

I hope Pereira wins to keep things interesting in the division.

I think there’s a high chance we will know who is going to win the fight within the first minute of round 1 just based on how they’re moving.

This. His frame can handle 258 cause he’s a huge dude, but his body isn’t used to moving that much weight around in a real fight. We’ll see how it goes.

Dude was double champ in GLORY, I doubt he will just lose cuz Gane jumps around. The fat drunk Australian almost shut the lights for the Frances immigrant…

Fast enough for 99% of UFC heavies.

Over the years there have been sparring clips with Poatan vs huge heavyweights where he looks very human

Could not agree more.

I think this is a VERY interesting fight that i can see going either way. I do think stick and move will be Gane’s game plan, but Alex is so good at cutting off the cage. I think someone gets knocked out. I don’t see this going the distance either way.

Except for maybe the one he’s fighting lol

I’ve never thought his sparring has looked good

His fighting vs his sparring are worlds apart

Yes I agree and we see this all the time

Jones looked super slow but was able to get away with it via his wrestling and Stipe being old as shit.

Jon Jones is who I meant.

On that topic, the spinning back kick that Jones finished Stipe with was probably one of the slowest kicks ever thrown in a championship fight. Stipe was just so stiff and old that it was fast to him.

If they are going to have him moving that slow they need to have him keep his hands up or he will be catching punches and kicks with his face.

Idk what his camp looked like whatsoever, but I would’ve had him focusing on agility, footwork, flexibility, cardio, etc. rather than power. He already hits like a truck at any weight. Maybe they did do that, idk. But if they didn’t, it’s a mistake imo.

Gane is fucking fast. For a LHW or HW. If Poatăn is at a speed disadvantage he gets stopped in one round IMO.

Gane has been known to go into passive mode at odd times. That might play in the fight.

Gane is going to dance around and make Alex miss over and over.. it could be a dull fight

Based on the footage, I’d say Gane is faster

But Alex always looks meh in sparring and mitts
