Did you miss the point, or avoid it?
What’s your point
And Lebanner could also get slept.
He’s been avoiding the point all night and he knows it
No I really haven’t
Perpetual goal post mover to win at all costs. Lol
Lol Alex beat some average to below average kickboxers because of his power.
Got exposed by a better striker and his fans got his chama juice in their eyes and blame the threat of the take downs as the reason lol.
Dude got rocked in the second round that had nothing to do with a take down threat.
I posted my reasons on how and why he got out striked imo.
I pointed out Tank and Alex have similarities in their striking. They are both one handed fighters with power.
He ignored a lot of the stuff I said about Ankalaev and his previous fights and even admitted at one point “I stopped reading after that part”.
I didn’t read about his previous fight because it had nothing to do with Alex getting out striked by a better striker
I said a lot of shit you flat out ignored. K1, power vs technical, naming kickboxers that haven’t fought in 15-20 years etc… none of that matters. Ankalaev vs Periera was a fight that came down to one round…. If he such a better striker then why were they virtually even on strikes (even the baby ones in the clinch)…? Why did he keep attempting takedowns and keep trying to take Alex to the clinch? Why is the result of the fight being debated so much? If he was such a better striker who out struck Alex then it should be clear and definitive. It’s pretty clear that the clinch and takedown threats were a huge factor. Anyone who watches MMA can see that.
Ank was better with the foot work, foot positioning, feints, jabs, hand positioning/hand battle, aggression, and landed the cleaner more effective strikes.
Look at the striking sequences from :40-1:00.
That’s all due to someone being better technically. The combos, foot work, punch placements was the reason Alex was hurt twice in that time frame
Why am I here?
To chat, share opinions, disagree like I did with you.
Yeah, he fought the take downs like
Crazy, to avoid the submission threat that wasn’t there, or to avoid losing a decision, but just burned a lot of energy against somebody who has never won by submission, and has LOST by submission to Paul Craig of all people.
In a straight up Kickboxing or Muay Thai fight Alex pereira beats Magomed 10/10x. This is a silly debate lol
No one thinks Chris Weidman is a better striker than Anderson Silva just because of what happened in their first fight
Just because Tank has beaten some opponents doesn’t make him technically superior. For example, Ryan throws a windmill left hook, so you should duck and counter. Or there was Tank’s technique against Pitbull? The same happened with Roach, but it was even worse. If his opponent isn’t wide open or doesn’t get intimidated…
This is the most technical boxer
But sometimes likes to stand and bang
