All Aspects of TENNIS Discussion

i thought it said teenis. i’m out.

Alcaraz threw a bit of a tantrum? I didn’t know. I’ll need to check that out.

I think it’s one of those things that’s very worthwhile learning the right way in the beginning, instead of needing to overcome ingrained bad habits.

Chang was my favorite.
Perpetual underdog, fun to watch.

I got as far as USTA level 4.5 rating, highest level is 7.0. Great game you can play into old age.

I want Nadal to make one more run. Get healthy, some wins under his belt and his swagger back and then meet Alcaraz deep in the French. Like an official passing of the torch.

Always liked her.

She played pretty good tennis too.

Hingis was never the same after those ankle surgeries. She was still very young when she had them, like 19 or 20.

I was with you until the passing of the torch part. I want Nadal to get healthy enough to make another run, and with a major or two. I would love to see him win another French Open or two. Maybe a US Open?

Can Nadal win another slam though? The French would be his best chance obviously and I’d love to see it but I dunno.

A day later Alcaraz apologized for it.

“I want to apologise for my attitude yesterday, it was not good and that should not happen on court,” the world No. 3 said.

“I’m human, the nerves had accumulated and sometimes it’s very tough to control when there is that tension. I will work so that it doesn’t happen again. Now it’s time to think about NYC!”

It definitely did not help his game. Some guys like Kyrgios play better after outbursts but it’s just not in Carlos’ nature. Hopefully he’ll have a nice run in NY.
