Do they have bumper stickers advertising to the world that they are gun guys?
Do they talk about guns every day to anyone that will listen?
Is being a gun guy a huge part of their personal identity?
I don’t know that a more simplistic/purist approach vs a collectors approach, matters as much as whether or not they wear the “gun guy” identity on their sleeve.
Very few people know I’m a gun owner.
It’s none of most people’s business.
Here and there but that may have been true pre-1993 more so than now. I think the lid has been blown off the traditional martial arts community, I was there and saw it happen. I have a couple BBJ and one MMA guy in our Judo class. There is more cross training now than I have ever seen. Now Martial Arts breed bad egos, that’s another discussion entirely.
