You can argue that Khabib is better than Benson Henderson because of his undefeated record I guess or “never been scratched”. But you cant argue that these outside stats can overcome only having half the amount of Title wins.

Then broke the LW title defence record, and is the only guy to move up and defend a title against a legit WW #1 contender.

Islam finishes GSP standing or on the ground. Islam is a more dangerous striker as well. The GSP jab was a joke compared to Islam’s boxing and head kick game.
GSP would never hold up against elite Sambo masters who do more than shoot doubles. They have trips and throws. He would get tooled so badly you’d be in a state of disbelief.

Jon tucked and ran when it came to defending the HW title. He chose a 44 year old Stipe when Aspinall was available, ducked Francis before that.
Islam actually defended when he moved up against a much larger #1 contender and now has the UFC win streak title.
