Looks like Dr. Phil’s show is coming to an end. Last few seasons haven’t been very enticing. Remember when he first started and didn’t listen to any excuses.

While the show was ending its daytime run, McGraw planned to expand his reach and impact on television through this new prime-time venture, according to NPR. There were also reports that the show had been struggling to attract advertisers and that some viewers were associating it with “quack doctors”, prompting a revamp effort that ultimately did not succeed.
Dr. Phil helped Oprah Winfrey by providing trial consultingduring a 1996 defamation case where she was sued by the beef industry. Oprah was so impressed with his advice and straightforward approach that she invited him to become a regular contributor on her show. This led to Dr. Phil becoming a popular guest and eventually launching his own successful television program, “Dr. Phil”.

Every interview ive heard him in (which is only his visits on jre) he seems pretty cool but holy fuck i never could stand his show and i think rogans old bit about it is spot on.

I will say that Dr.Phil said on the air that he was paying for my friend to go to a first class rehab center across the country, and he really did that wasn’t just bs for the show
