Obviously realised there was no punishment for eye gouging so decided to incorporate it more into his game. For sure it played a factor in the Topuria fight.

Yeah, Illia was in reality fighting a guy 2 weight classes above were he should. Illia was being a cocky mofo thinking he could just stalk Justin and continued to walk directly into his jabs and vicious uppercuts. I know you like to stir up the CT shit but I thought you were better than this.

Its not like there isnt a precedent for was Genghis is saying in modern combat sports.
Again Im not convinced either way of anything other than him being dirty and eyepoking the fuck out of Ilia.
But its not like Margarito didnt just do this in boxing in the modern era. And apparenlty its all over youtube others felt the same. Althoguh to me, as I said before, it wouldnt really make any sense to have something inside the palm. Only on the knuckles, so the pictures everyone is talking about online are kinda pointless.

I think you have me confused with someone else because you also said you were arguing with me again when I don’t remember having any interaction with you before this thread?
You can attribute it to Ilia being smaller and that’s fine but I think that is countered by the fact Justin has hit fighters way more flush in the face and way more often early and they looked fine by comparison.
Maybe one day you might think differently. Especially when you consider that there was no athletic commision for this card.

All eyepikes are intentional and the referee should deal with them accordingly.
How can someone say that such super skilled fighters cant avoid eye poking their opponents by mistake?
I guarantee that if a fighter was promised 1 million dollar if he didn’t eye poke the other dude, he wouldnt even get close to do it, he’d keep his fucking fingers closed.
