UFC Freedom 250 will be headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, and features Alex Pereiraâs move up to heavyweight to fight Ciryl Gane. Several former UFC standouts, including Francis Ngannou and Ronda Rousey, have slammed the upcoming event.
Over the last six years, White has went back-and-forth with polarizing boxing star Jake Paul on fighter pay and other UFC-related topics. They shared an awkward encounter at the College Football Playoff Championship Game earlier this year that went viral.
Ahead of UFC Freedom 250, Paul used some airtime to reignite his long-standing feud with White and the UFC brass.
Jake Paul: UFC, Dana White âgot greedyâ with White House lineup
In a recent appearance on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Paul took his latest shot at the UFC head.
âNot smart enough,â Paul said of White.
âJust look at what heâs doing! You donât get Jon Jones on the White House card? First of all, Justin Gaethje is going to lose to Ilia [Topuria], on the White House card. So you have a Spaniard beating a white American on the patriotic White House card? Big mistake. Why are you not going to pay Jon Jones? Theyâve gotten greedy, and theyâve forgotten their hearts as a company.
âItâs dying, because the best people in the sport become wrestlers and they just hold on,â Paul continued. âLook at Khabib, Khamzat. Boring! No one wants thatâŚwho has Paramount?â
As of this writing, White hasnât responded to Paulâs latest remarks. Paul and Most Valuable Promotions will look to make their stamp on Mixed Martial Arts with the upcoming Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano card.
Thatâs two guys who donât really care for each other with a mutual friend. They are being cordial to each other like any normal person would be in that situation.
According to Trump Jake Paul will be president one day. ![]()
Iâm sure Dana would love that.
âmutual friendâ = most powerful man in the world
Just imagine a world where a broccoli head kid takes over mma. I must admit that I do like Jake, and Iâm here for this.
