If I have to travel for work my employer will give me a rental, airfare, per diem etc.

Didn’t these guys rip a bunch of people off on the old forum? The gay side not the OG.

Blame Canada.

What kind of half-ass company doesn’t cover travel expenses?

Is the airfare for his personal flight? Or maybe an upgrade or additional flight for a corner/family?

Posting an actual pay stub, with multiple internal ufc email addresses on it, is sure to piss off the powers that be at ufc- regardless of posting financial info. Dumb move imo.

1 performance bonus in 18 UFC fights.

Decision queen.

Screwed a bunch of fighters out of money with his company.

Fuck Makdessi.

Australia. That’s why fighters don’t like to fight there and why Strickland demanded a special deal to step in vs. Adesanya.

And I think travel expenses are covered for the fighter and 1-2 corners, but not a whole team. UFC not covering the medicals is ridiculous.

Don’t fight in a country with a 45% tax and then blame the UFC.

not your commute.

and i think they’re all contractors. 1099 employees. you usually pay all of your own expenses.

Depends on the contract. Wouldn’t surprise me if the UFC has a wide range of contractual agreements on things like this.

so wouldn’t that be tax deductible then?

yes.

Yes

They are contractors, not employees. I’m pretty damn sure the production team doesn’t have to pay travel expenses because they are actually employed.

I deal with contractors, we aren’t paying them travel to a site. They bid on the job for a certain price, if they get it, their expenses are on them.

makes no sense to have it deducted from your paycheck then….at least use your own credit card to buy the travel and rack up some points. or do they even get that option?
