HAHA! Fuck Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm…
This guy is an absolute nerd. You know that chick was looking to dump those cards to piss her husband off.
It feels good when you pull off a win-con and your opponent allows it to happen rather than roping you & letting all the timers run out…
Another salty-assed bitch. I played my win-con and the mf’er stopped participating. This game really needs a simply reporting function for shit like this…
I don’t normally play this type of deck. I did over 1000 damage to my opponent and gained over 1000 life in a single turn!
I gotta admit that I’m a bit disappointed that there were no achievements associated with that…
Arena matchmaking is such bullshit. I have a Abzan (WGB) “prison” deck. All I’m facing off against are Orzhov (BW) or Abzan removal, hand denial, or board-wipe decks…
I can’t get anything going because my opponents are barely playing any creatures, and any creature I play is immediately removed.
Today’s asshole. I got my win-con on the board, he said “Good Game”… then stopped participating, making me wait out all the timers. Dick.
EXHIBIT A: Why I despise Alchemy!
Alchemy is so fucking broken… how is this even remotely fair? I’m not against digital-only cards, but they’re so fucking over-powered! And the fact that they’re included in certain formats that don’t have paper-only options… Such as Brawl, Historic, and Timeless.
The only paper-only option for Brawl is “Standard Brawl”, but it’s a rotating format. I don’t want to constantly update my Brawl decks because my favorite commander rotates out!
Timeless allows you to play with any paper cards that were released in Arena… BUT that also includes the digital-only cards.
Both of these formats NEED paper-only versions!!!
Ugh, I got one of THESE assholes today:
Once I got him to 2 life, he started “fogging” me each turn.
HAH! Took out an Eldrazi deck that was doing it’s thing. Even played Ulamog, the Defiler, which I was fortunately able to remove!
This was a fun game! I eked out the win. My opponent was also at 3 life. I attacked with two 1/1 token creatures (1 of which was an artifact creature), opponent blocked 1 and took 1 damage. Then sac’ed the 1/1 artifact creature token to the Oni-Cult Anvil doing another point of damage, then with Ziatora, the Incinerator EOT ability, I sac’ed another 1/1 creature to do the final point of damge, winning the game.
Not sure how much my opponent appreciated it, but he did “GG” me at the end, so I’m assuming he wasn’t too salty…
I picked these up for my EDH Ziatora, the Incinerator deck (https://moxfield.com/decks/kd9d7fmRwE-9UQ_wzioP2A)
I’ve been saying how the last bunch of set releases simply haven’t been “speaking to me”… well, I was just reviewing the spoilers for Tarkir: Dragonstorm… I’m kinda feeling this one! I’m not AS excited for this one as I was for the Brothers’ War or the last Phyrexian arc… but I’m seeing things that are giving me a tingle.
But, fuck this card:
That card is fucking broken.
It’s even worse because preorder bundles come with copies of that card. Pay to win much?
Shame it’s the Outlaws set. That set didn’t really appeal to me.
So, I might play Commander/EDH online tomorrow night. My nephew is trying to organize a group to play via SpellTable after 8 PM. I’ve adjusted the mana bases of a couple of my decks after watching a Command Zone podcast suggesting that you really need to start with 38 land cards in your deck. I’ve noted that I often find myself struggling with mana during games. Most of my decks have around 35 lands… so adding 2-3 more land cards should hopefully get the decks stop stalling on me…
