Its always been that way.
You guys all pretend like prime Conor wasn’t the biggest thing to ever happen to mma. In boxing and every other sport there’s a bunch of guys who made big money. In mma there is one. Nobody else will ever replicate what Conor was able to do in a short amount of time.

The elderly get emotional, it happens. He went away and sold his tomatoes, came back and won the title. It’s pretty much a Rocky Balboa story and he is the hero we need.

Him making a lot of money because of his loud personality, and a not-so-subtle UFC push – does not make him a “hero”.
At least half the people were tuning in hoping to see him lose.
