I tried nicotine patches a few months ago.

Literally felt like nothing.

I was smoking with the patch on within 3 hours.

I need to quit, badly. Gum and lozenges do nothing. I end up smoking while chewing gum.

I put on two patches at a time and still wanted to smoke. I have no advice though lol.

when it comes to cigarettes, and from my personal experience…Cold Turkey is the Only Way to go

it is the most straightforward and quickest way

of course you need to be disciplined and have will power, but I find lozenges, patches, etc, just prolong and build in excuses to smoke a little longer

pick a date/day and jus tjust go cold turkey and deal with the suckyness for 2-3 weeks…it is no big deal compared to any and all other addictions

I’ve been through this and recently. Lost my 22 year old cat. I currently have a 15 year old cat showing her age too.

The only advice I have if you haven’t tried it, is blending their wet food of choice up, or chopping up the bits real fine tends to make them eat more. They all seem to have a harder time eating big, dry pieces. Also bisque and liquidy foods if they’ll eat them.

Not sure about that. They say it’s one of the tough ones.

I found lozenges super effective. Willpower still plays a huge role of course, but anything that helps is worth it. I think the biggest factor in people quitting these days is cost. Friend told me the other day that it’s $25+ a pack now around here.

of course

for Me and my experience, the lozenges and patches just sort of “gave me an out” and prolonged the proces for me

( I have quit cold turkey AND with lozenges/patches/gum for 3-7 years at a time, multiple times, over the 30 years ive smoked cigs)

I quit smoking with vaping and it wasn’t even hard. I assure you that this is more to do with vaping making it easier.

Do you still vape? Put me down for someone that needs to quit smoking after 25 years.

Yes

I would use vapes to stop smoking if I could stop vaping.

You could if you wanted.

I’ve had these for a few months and just go back to smoking:

see what I mean? lol
i guess it is better than smoking cigs (but do we really know that yet)

BUT, You now still have an addiction to Vaping (other chemicals with much less history on their side effects compared to cig smoke)

that was my issue too…i ended up using that Jewel nicotine vape during one of my Quits, and my lungs got fucked from that stuff too
