Couple thoughts on the fights,
There are a few championship level guys that better be glad Merab is only 135 pounds. Dudes cardio is killer even when hurt to the body. Yan is such a killer tho. He was no nonsense and not giving Merab time to laugh and play with him. This is title fight business. Tf you laughing about?
I never thought Movsar had a chance in this fight. Volk is way to good even in advanced age to ever be grapplefucked into a loss. Dude used to way 220 pounds. That strength stays even in a smaller body and Id venture to say that on top of being extremely skilled, carrying around 220 and then being 150 while still maintaining strength and conditioning is a massive factor in his longevity. You gotta think its like throwing the kids around after playing heavyweight rugby and then going against these skinny assholes. Or whatever they call it. Footie I guess.
Then add on old man strength to top it off.
Volk is just a nightmare match up for a guy with no power on his punches.

Anyone with big power might be a problem for old Volk. I love Volk and he’s the goat at 145 but pico and Silva both present problems for him.
