I think prime Aldo keeps Topuria at the end of his leg kicks and blast his legs to Bolivia. Topuria would pressure though and he has 1 punch KO power. I’d be rooting for Aldo but I don’t know.
It will be interesting to see how good post divorce Topuria fights

Ilia just knocked out volk, max, Charles, max beat Aldo handidly. Topuria by brain damage.
This would likely be a standup fight. Topouria has great wrestling, but its hard to imagine Ilia taking or keeping Jose down. Even if he lands a double leg I see Aldo pushing the head away and scrambling back up. If he grabs a single Aldo spins out and looks for knees.
On the feet Aldo has the faster hands and more dynamic striking. Aldo explodes forward with aggressive combos to the head, body, and legs and pushes everyone back. Topouria hasnt shown his striking to be like a matador despite his name.
Ilia is powerful and technical but he doesn’t have the movement of a McGregor to frustrate Jose. Ilia relies on his ability to plant his feet and win fire fights with superior technique and power. Ilia has a good chin, but Jai Herbert dropped him, Aldo closes the show in that situation.
It’s a tough fight and Aldo could go to sleep or turtle up and get stopped, but I see him mixing up jabs, hooks, body shots, leg kicks, and knees and crumbling Ilia inside 3 rounds. Ilias best shot would be to survive until rounds 4 and 5 when Aldo gasses and get on top, but we haven’t seen him in later rounds so I’m not sure he would be the fresher fighter.

Fucking Max and recent fights kind of blur how damn good Aldo was.
Topuria by first round KO. Aldo was small as hell for a featherweight & IMO, was a bit overrated.
Aldo also doesn’t jump into his opponents best punch 9/10. That setup in the best way possible for Conor.

Hes got the touch of death , an Aldo will run in to something just like the Conor fight
The Connor KO only happened because he lept into it, and the grazing punch he threw still busted Conor’s eye open
