Never done judo before but have rolled with some black belts before, can defo feel their strength.
Wish I had trained judo in my 20s. Afraid Ill fuck up my back or shoulders if I started now. But would love to have that skillset in a street fight.
Judo paired with submissions or strikes is a lethal combo. Hit the ground before you know what’s happening, think rousey and Gina but real.
I think the only judo stuff that I’d ever try in a street fight is the foot sweeps that don’t require you to expose your back to load them up. It would be nice to able to slam someone on concrete if you had to but not that the risk of giving your back up or something you’d roll thru on the ground also. The sweeps in Muay Thai I think are better for street fighting

Sure bud, I’m not saying it was fixed I’m saying it wasn’t taking seriously like a real fight with consequence. It was a glorified sparring match gina was there to dance, she didn’t care at all about the outcome.
if youre scared about your back and shoulders maybe dont street fight
Judu don’t know of what you speak!
judo chops braf
Just do foot sweeps!
Most people wouldn’t know what to do with your back if they got it. I think they would instinctively go for a RNC and not know how to do it and then you can do whatever.

Except we aren’t talking about a first day white belt. You have to assume they’re willing to hurt you by any means at their disposal. Not worth giving them the slightest opportunity.
I was laughing because it was true
i heard that like wutang sample
I completely misread a bugger picker as the opposite of a laugh I’m getting old I guess.
Pretty sure we are. Just because some scrub on the street WANTS to hurt you doesn’t mean they can. Remember, most people’s cardio sucks and they severely overestimate their ability to fight.
don dont want no scrubs
