And Pena can’t punch, that’s probably the biggest factor. Ronda clearly doesn’t like getting punched so Pena is the safest “big” name that’s still pretty high in the rankings

She wasn’t loyal to her mom or j flo, or Gokor.
Any of those other coaches I mentioned would be better than Edmond, and choosing them would be being loyal. In fact she kind of fucked her real coaches over when she left Gokor’s gym to train at Glendale.

She was a one-trick, absolutely bang-average MMA fighter, fighting in a division of completely horseshit competitors. As soon as there was a hint of half-decent women fighters, she got smashed and ran off.
In terms of earnings, opportunity and popularity, she’s one of the luckiest sportswomen of all time.

Not get routed in her last 2 bouts in non competitive fashion and then flee from the sport crying that MMA isn’t fair because she’s had like 5 concussions and no one else has to deal with that adversity. Have a winning record since their last fight. Have strung together a 5 fight winning streak in that time, culminating with strangling the girl who completely dismantled and embarrassed Ronda?
