Royce vs Ken 2 with no time limit

Let’s say Royce got a no time limit fight with Ken fo the rematch, who wins? I think Royce kicks the shit out of Ken’s kidneys but he ends up gassing after an hour and a half, sort of like his fight with Sakuraba. It is also possible that Ken has a heart attack and yells at Petey for the towel.

  • Ken gets kidney kicked to a living death
  • Royce gasses

I changed my mind, I think Royce wins, he owns Ken

We including the 5 minute overtime where the punch fucked up his eye? If so I vote Ken based on accumulating damage to the eye alone.

That was a good punch. I guess Ken could throw a punch every 10 minutes and hope for a stoppage

It wasn’t just the punch. IIRC Ken was grinding his forearm into the cut to make it worse meaning there’s an accumulating damage factor there.

Correct it wasn’t just the punch.

In the OT period Ken was grinding Royce from high in the guard, cross facing, short punches, headbutts, etc.

Royce had absolutely nothing for him by that point.

More time just means Royce would have taken more damage. Might have seen the towel thrown.

You do understand that human beings do not stay exactly the same over the years, right?

ken had trained for a no time limit fight

he expected it to go 3 hours

which is why he made sure not to blow his wad

royces face woulda doubled in size from the headbutts n stuff over 3 hrs

I don’t even remember seeing a bruise.

The kidney kick thing is funny.

Simply put it was a terrible fight .. I gotta put 95% of the blame on Ken for it - he literally sat in Royce’s guard and played pure defense for 30 minutes .. his own father was screaming for him to “do something!”..

I give it to Ken for landing a good right hand during overtime but he laid a big ass egg overall

Didn’t we just have this conversation on another thread?

Just watching the OT Ken put it on him moreso than just the punch.
Royce did nothing to suggest it wouldn’t have been more of the same.

It being boring leading up to that is something I think everyone agrees on.

Ken showed in that fight how to break the closed guard. Pushing down and putting pressure on the hips to break the guard and gain dominant position, then ground and pound. I think he called it “stacking”. Ken all day baby!

He was having trouble with Severn before Severn got caught. But I’d say Ken had him if it continued.

How about Rice vs Ken with today’s round system, still nhb? Pussy ass Rice Gay-c with his gay special rules for fags

Well with judges the second fight would have been a unanimous decision for Ken.

Add rounds to it and I think it’s a pretty easy decision for Ken just based on getting TDs and playing it safe from top position.

More standups mean more potential striking opportunities too.

For that period in time with what they both knew, Ken had the formula to negate what Royce wanted to do.
In UFC 1 it was the opposite.

Jesus I remember that… If he’d have been pissing blood for weeks, he’d have spent some serious time in the hospital.
