I agree the level of the sport keeps rising but I don’t think Sean could have got to the end of 5 rounds with Silva.
He clocked Izzy and figured out he could stalk him down but that only worked because Izzy really doesn’t have 1 shot power on counters. Silva did and would have ended him in that fight. Silva also liked to catch lazy kicks and could have multiple times in that fight,

Machida was a small light heavyweight at 5’10. Strickland beats the beaks off his karate style. The karate style only gets you so far. Remember Mike Perry beat up Michal venom page in bare knuckle boxing. Page is a karate point fight guy.
