I hope so.
Ken’s life is like a Mickey Rourke movie.
Fucking crazy.

you don’t want that smoke homey
There are so many different directions one could take. Of course, we need a couple flashbacks of him being out on the streets as a kid and him getting stabbed before ending up in the Shamrock home. After his heyday as a fighter, the downfall was years of losses. Where would it end?
well when sev was on top of ken he threw a lot of punches
of course that was illegal that night, which is why ken didnt punch sev from mount
Yeah it would have to be at least a solid 2 hours or maybe a little longer. Don’t want to go too long with that category.
They’d have to show a little of his childhood, or maybe a brief flashback sequence to set the stage. Need to show that he broke his neck wrestling in highschool. Then show him as a bouncer, when he put that guy in the hospital (setting up the dangerous man thing), the Toughman competitions, his early days of pro wrestling and shoot fights in Japan, and a good chunk on his Pancrase and UFC career in the 90s. Definitely the first KOP tournament should at least be highlighted.
Through that we would see glimpses if the substance abuse, and brutal Lions Den stuff.
Then a smaller transition into the WWF, and that’s when things get a little darker.
Then the downfall.. the injuries specifically highlighted.. and the failed camps.
Would like to see the Royce fights, Bas fights, Severn fights, Kimo fights, Frye fight, and at least the first Tito fight shown in good detail.
If someone gave it to me to map out, I would have it end where it starts…
It would open with old retired Ken, doing one of his Christian speaking events, sharing his testimony.
That would set the stage for the first childhood flashback – then it would go in order after that, culminating in a row of losses, with frustrated locker room scenes, and his current wife telling him he needs to stop.
Then we see him somewhat with his shit together, putting on a nice shirt for his speaking event, Bible on the counter, and he walks out on stage and begins the first few lines of the opening scene..
Roll credits.
Kind of a Raging Bull template IMO.

I’m available for consulting.
Correct.
I actually took some notes when reading the Snowden book. I think the best scene will be him raging and yelling at Frank for not running the Lions Den well enough and throwing a computer monitor at his head.
That’s a good one.
Also the scene where he’s raging and beating the shit out of Vernon White and Tony Galindo in the alley behind a bar.
These two have a cool connection that I don’t think ever got out to the public, if I ever interview Ken again–or Dan–I’ll put it out there with their blessing.
Would be awesome.
Like I said .. to be a fly on the wall.
Cast Ellen Page as Ken. The guy from Thor as Frank.
RINGS too. No strikes on the ground and standing 8 counts is not mma.
The whole concept that really made mma different than other combat sports from the get go was being able to follow up with strikes after knocking a guy down. That’s what a vast majority of the early “controversy” revolved around.
3-0 imo
58 second tap
Royce destroyed Ken’s kidneys with 1000 kicks, Ken Landed one shot
Royce stopped Ken again. There was incidental contact but the ref didn’t see it
Ken slso said the only reason he didn’t submit Oleg at ufc 7 was because he didn’t want to hurt him because he was getting Oleg fights and getting a % of his winnings .. this is fucking nonsense lol .. Ken has said a lot of stupid shit over the years but I’m still a big fan of his
Great gifs!
I still have these fights on VHS.
Lol
Nice trolling.
Pretty sure what really happened was Ken had been up all night partying and was coming down off of ecstacy when he fought Oleg.
Probably took him lightly because he had dominated Oleg in the gym.
I believe Ken about not wanting to put Oleg in a leg submission though.
That makes sense.
hard to imagine ken subbing oleg
but he could probably stay on top and out of trouble with the horse meat strength
Wasn’t everyone else at the event punching with a closed fist and elbowing each others heads in?!?!
