the bmf had some credibily after Max face planted Gaethje but then after Topuria KO’ed Max, it automaically became a misnomer but for some reason Max still had the title, and now the title is passed to someone who dry humped Max with BJJ for five rounds jfl

I think the fake belt was always a dumb idea, a one time thing I could maybe get behind for two absolute deserving “BMF’s" but a fake belt getting passed along to fighters who are not champions is just stupid in my opinion.
BMF should be a real championship that can only be defended between fighters of a different weight class and the expectation that the fighters do not stall the fight at all. Champion can call out anyone in a higher weight class or be called out by anyone of a lighter weight.
It was a fun little gimmick the first time between Diaz and Masvidal but it should have ended there like they said it would. Now it’s just a big fucking quagmire.
There should be a BMF event every year (NYE sounds good). 5 or 6 fights for the card. Trophies instead of titles. PRIDE rules (plus elbows), yellow and red cards, 10 min first round-all of it. $500,000 for every winner on top of contracted money. Have it at the Apex, do some gay decorations and pyro inside. Have it be a ppv event.

I think Max was anticipating another stand-up war but we got a weekend NAGA event headliner.

AAAAND current champions SHOULD be able to fight for a BMF TROPHY but it shouldn’t be the STANDARD. If they’re gonna do a champ vs champ thing, this would be the event to do it.
Apex because it’s end of the year holiday season and would require a smaller staff and crew to pull it off.
PPV to make up some of the money. And even with less money at the gate, they could probably get away with charging stupid admission prices because it’ll be a “spectacle”.
I want PRIDE rules of course but even if they could only realistically pull off the 10 min endurance round, I’d be happy with that. That’s some real BMF shit. Maybe even two 10 min rounds, split decisions are a draw and no one gets the $500,000 bonus
6 fights total $60 PPV, maybe 2 BMF contenders fights with up and comers, so UFC doesn’t have to fill an entire event with BMF stars, they seem to have trouble with that already.

Charles fought a genius fight. He was so incredible that instead of putting one man to sleep in max. Instead he put all of us fans to sleep!
Pointing down in the center of the cage and trading for 5 seconds is pretty cringe when they put on a snoozer the whole rest of the fight.
He gave max like 2 seconds at best and welched. It’s 10 seconds all out those are the terms. Terribly boring performance and couldn’t even get the sub.
Considering Max has never even been close to being dominated like that, it’s pretty bad ass. That being said, the BMF is still a gimmick.
