Tuff-N-Uff 143 Fight Card: Former Fighters on the Card - 4/25

A UFC Kansas City pre-game event kicks off one day prior.

Regional mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Tuff-N-Uff returns this Fri., April 25, 2025, for Tuff-N-Uff 143 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, delivering a fun fight card.

Headlining the event, top Welterweight prospect Ernesto Rodriguez (9-1) seeks to secure a Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract or a spot on Season 9 of Contender Series as he battles former Bellator fighter and Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler Mahmoud Sebie (5-2) for the vacant Tuff-N-Uff Welterweight Championship.

Rodriguez, riding a seven-fight win streak, is on the cusp of a call from UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby, and a dominant performance could clinch his shot. Sebie, with three consecutive finishes, aims to derail Rodriguez’s momentum.

In the co-main event, former UFC and Bellator veteran Kai Kamaka (14-6-1), recently competing in the PFL, makes his Tuff-N-Uff debut after a planned Global Fight League (GFL) bout fell through. The “Fighting Hawaiian” faces fellow UFC alum Joshua Weems (12-4), who suffered a first-round loss at Tuff-N-Uff 142 last month.

The card also features former UFC fighter Daniel Lacerda (12-6, 0-5 in UFC), undefeated UFC employee Sal Everett (4-0), and rising prospect Cobey Fehr (1-0).
