Yup! Vehicles of any kind. Got a Jet Ski or Snowmobile or a One Wheel? Fuck it, post it.
When I was 15 I suped up a GoPed. Did 30mph on the top end, loved that thing.
Parents gave it to someone when I was in college, very disappointed.
I initially referenced a GoPed and then deleted because I was like, “No one will remember that thing.”
The one that got away….I always wanted a GoPed and it never happened.
Now I just have this whore. Soon to be very midified and tuned!!!
I can’t wait to see this thing in the next few months!
Is it an GTI mark 1?
It keeps getting more real. My BIL and I work together and he has a car trailer, so I’m gonna take it up there either this week or next. While it’s there I’m gonna scrub the interior pieces that are pulled out, and shampoo the carpet. There are some rusted parts that I’m taking to work to sandblast and repaint with C130 paint.
My company makes these parts and that paint is crazy tough and matte black. I wanna do the whole car in it, but I don’t think Lockheed will take kindly to paying for a whole car respray.
That would be cool as shit. Can you get stealth bomber paint? I should do my car in it.
What is that part? An access panel for the jack screw assembly?
Or just reinforcement?
We did some B2 fairings a couple years ago, but that paint is since long gone and expired. One of the guys did his motorcycle tank with it since the painter “accidentally mixed up too much”.
It’s called a Saddle Fairing and it’s a structural fairing, and since it’s at the base of the tail it gets more wind contact and the paint needs to be super tough. The less shiny part is actually a rubber boot that inflates to break up ice that forms, and there is an antenna loctated inside of it. There is an access panel on the other side.
The paint is functional too and protects against static. It’s cool stuff.
2002 Jetta TDI hotrod
430,xxx miles and counting
1.5" lift with HD springs and good Bilstien shocks
DLC520 injectors
Still bangs out 45mpg average.
800mile range per tank
It has been everywhere
Yeah we used to use some kind of conductive shielding paint in our clean rooms because we were dispensing powders that could end up going kaboom.
I was going to ask you to post this. Still got that pic of the custom odometer/MPG setup on the dash?
