A 180hp ALH TDI is 350 ft-lb torque…super fun to drive.

Got a couple buddies who love building 7.3L Fords and they run these in them… can do a ton of shit like dial in your transmission shift RPM’s and fuel/air ratio.

Actuator arm has play which typically means the wastegate is bad. On these IHIs that means the whole turbo needs to be replaced.

@Toonces you have the stock turbo on your car still or did you upgrade and have the old one kicking around?

Saw your post above and immediately thought bad wastegate or actuator arm then just saw this. Sucks. :disappointed:
What are your options to support your power goals?

This is on my wife’s wagon with Stage 1 APR tune so my ideal solution is just a replacement so I don’t have to upgrade anything else or change tunes.

The R is in a decent spot right now. Big turbo is all installed and base tune has been good to me. Should be making ~600HP shortly.

600whp on E85?
We can’t even get E85 at the pump here in NC. Quite annoying honestly.
I can make about 520rwhp on 93 or 700+ if I pay thousands of dollars for a drum of Ignite ethanol LOL.
No in-between unfortunately…

Yeah. Tuner said I could do 650-700 but I said I wanted the head room to keep it reliable.
