He’s probably sick of making the weight and has no intention of keeping that kind of schedule of defending two belts.

Its also possible this is what the UFC wanted. I also don’t see this as Charles being gifted anything.

Charles lost to Arman. Arman may have pulled out of his title shot but he hasn’t missed weight as much as Charles. I don’t get the matchmaking in the UFC, I really don’t.

He did lose, correct. I thought there was some controversy on the choke Charles had.

I heard they were doing an interim LW title as Islam was adamant he wasn’t vacating. This sounds like the UFC made the decision for him.
