This was from a few days ago at the ADCC Dallas Open in the Open Weight Division.
Ben Eddy is a 10th Planet guy and is on the receiving end of a pretty dirty slam given it’s a submission grappling match. But being a lighter guy and going for that move against that guy is putting a lot of trust in the competition.
Trash move and guy should be immediately disqualified if he broke any rules, but this is what happens when you “play” jujitsu and act like you can’t actually be hurt.
Rule #1 in tournaments, never expect your opponent to be nice to you.
I thought it was funny on multiple levels. I especially enjoyed the queer and the Karen in the background crying and yelling medic!!! Jiu Jitsu is such bullshit these days.
I disagree. CJI 1 had a darn near perfect rule set
its traditional jiu jitsu, the IBJJF that needs reform. every match is a player stalling someone in their guard, going for a sweep or advantage in the last minute, then holding on. Its dreadful to watch save for a handful of players
