His take downs did no damage either. You need to do something after the takedowns
Media scores split down the middle.
I also picked him to roll up Strickland. I then fell asleep and woke up to quite the surprise.
Sean was in great shape and khamzat looked a bit soft for having to cut so much weight. Sean looked like the superior athlete by the eye test and it worked out that way in the end. He shucked off those takedowns real nice. I think it was wise for khamzat to laugh off the prospects of him wrestling Kyle Snyder, that probably wouldnât go well for him.
Smart man
The only round in questionwaa the fifth. I watched it again today and while Hazmat attempted takedowns, he either wasnât successful of did absolutely nothing with them. On the feet Sean won which gave him the round. It wasnât a beat down but it was enough to secure the round.
I had it 3-2 Strickland. I thought the third round was closer than the 5th but all the judges gave the third to Strickland.
The female judge was the dissenting score in the 5th round and gave it to Chimaev.
I initially thought that but looking at the stats, Strickland rightly won.
He just did it in the most anticlimactic way possible considering the opportunity he had.
Strickland won rounds 2,3, and 5.
I scored RD 5 for Chimaev (and was hoping heâd lose), but it was a razor close round.
No robbery. Couldâve went either way. RD 5 couldâve definitely been scored 10-10, resulting in a draw
That said, f that Muslim terrorist.
We donât get to score it; the judges score it. We just rip up our parlay cards and start typing online about how we got fucked, then we grab our vibrators and tickle our butt holes.
I thought Khamzat won. It was close and he definitely lost aura but I still thought he won
Former MMA judge here. I thought Khamzat won.
What was he rocked with? I didnât see any punch leading to this. That looked like a fluke injury to me, which he somehow overcame
How does Khabib not get cuts?
Where were you when khamzat needed you most?

If you are going to give points for takedowns you have to give points to guys getting back up. Sean got up 6 times with absolutely no damage done on the ground. Sean also had over 3 minutes of control in the ground himself yet I see no mention of that anywhere
Iâm more impressed if you take a guy down and put him on his back. If you take him down to a knee or two, and hands on the ground, and he gets up, I donât think that should count.
The announcers werenât very good that night.
