I’m down for that.
You’re right, I’ve read the entire rules before and a 10-8 is supposed to be given when a fighter dominates the action. Doesn’t have to be a sub attempt or near KO. It’s just that the scoring has never been done that way in reality so we are used to never seeing 10-8’s
And determination.
The mystique of Khamzat is clearly gone and people will not see him as the boogey man anymore and talk shit to him now.
But as soon as he comes back and dominates someone, which will probably be his next fight, everyone will say hes back and so great again.
Pretty sure they train together. Either way, I highly doubt Bo takes that fight
Bo already said he wanted to fight Khamzat before. Its his best chance to get into the actual title picture at this point. If anyone should be turning down that fight it’s Khamzat. He would have little to gain and much to lose
2 of the 5 train with him..
Khamzat has many weaknesses and not being great off his back appears to be yet another one of them.
Khabib was so much of a more well rounded grappler.

It was razor close but I can totally understand an argument for Khamzat winning. I will say that the books up to the fight was great, right up to the security in the cage. The fight itself was just ok.
