Fought everyone. Every fight was great. He always fought hard, never played it safe.
Won belts all the way from 112 to 150 pounds.
Incredible.

Margarito was a known scumbag. Talking shit about Manny and his trainer with low blows.
Had come off wins against Cotto, Kermit Not The Frog Citron and Clottey. Caught using cement or something or other in his gloves. Dirty fighter.
Manny barely weighed enough to take the fight. WITH NO CUT. Margarito cut massive weight.
HUGE size difference.
Manny was the underdog.
Manny didn’t talk shit. Instead he let his fists do the talking and beat the ever living fuck out of Margarito.

Consistent badass. arguably beat Ray Robinson twice. Grew up on an onion farm. Was by all accounts a standup dude for the era.
Was completely with it throughout old age. Was doing interviews in his 80’s talking about fights like they happened yesterday.
