I met Terry Norris at the weigh ins for Winky-Shane 1. Poor guy sounded terrible.
Now that I think about it. I think that card was Joe Mesi last fight too
Duran, Leonard, Holyfield
Remember how fucking fun and exciting a Gatti fight was on HBO with Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant in the announcer’s booth? Good times!

Foreman.
Just so lovable.
Great switch hitter, worked Philly shell and long guard.
Incredible fighter, and may Big George RIP.
And I still love and use his lean mean grilling machine!
Sometimes I just slap punch the bag. Helps with hand speed and still have power
My favorite was a guy named Paul Williams. Tall, skinny, slick southpaw.
I think he could have gone down as a great, but he struggled to get fights at his natural weight. So he moved up was just overwhelmed by guys who could walk through what he had to offer.
Mayweather ducked him lol
Paul was good no doubt.
Emanuel Augustus deserves a mention.
Floyd claimed he was his toughest fight.
Insane war of attrition.
Dorsey was an insane pressure fighter in boxing, feeling so free now not worrying about kicks / spin techniques etc.
He ended that dude’s career in that fight
Absolutely.
Special mention to Ken Norton, my first favorite boxer back in 1976 at 14. Later became friends in 1992. Awesome dude as was Ken’s family.
How many of Norton’s fights vs Ali do you think the judges should have said he won?
I’ve seen all 3 several times & IMO, Norton won all 3. But bout 2 was very close & could’ve went Ali’s way. But number 3 was a total robbery in Ali’s favor.
