yeah, maybe if one lives the suburban sedentary lifestyle carbs are a villain, but for those REAL CONSERVATIVES of MASCULINE CONSTITUTION who live in the Hunter/Gather tradition of WALKING to the Cafe it is probably not so much an issue
@theraskal - was it satisfying to see someone represent tumbling at the Olympics?

as a REAL CONSERVATIVE I did not watch the Olympics because of that Controversial Nonsense. No need for me to whine and moan about it like some woman, I just simply didn’t watch after I became aware of that devilry!
…and basic tumbling should be a regular part of everyone’s fitness routine. Just this week I fell down coming up the stairs when I tripped over the final step and were it not for my history of tumbling, I could have broke a hip!
A true pursuer of FITNESS would include the lifts of POWER along with HIGH rep hypertrophy work as part of a full routine also featuring test of MOBILITY and CARDIO to prepare for the BIG win.
Good call Raskel, if you ask me gymnastics and tumbling provides all the strength training a man needs and lifting weights in front of the mirror with your little ear buds in is just vanity at best and self-harm at worst.
Of these two who do you guys think looks more healthy and fit? Who do you think women would be more attracted to?
I wish we could get an audiobook version of your threads op
Great thread.
Lifting weights is not getting fit. It can be great to build muscle, but outside of asthetics and some limit strength increase, you don’t need to make your fitness endeavors about lifting unless that is your goal.
Far better to incorporate body weight, movement, something that forces you to move on a coordinated way eg dancing, some type of cardio, with 1-3 days of week of general strength training.
Weight lifting alone physically dumbs you down over time.
