Ben Askren Not Doing Well- Staph Infection / Critical Condition

Like I said I no longer tested positive for covid when I almost died so I would have been in the pneumonia only column but I only got the pneumonia as a secondary infection to Covid.

Darren Till offers words of support for Ben Askren

Despite having never clashed inside the Octagon, Askren has a longstanding feud with former UFC star, Darren Till.

Back in 2019, Till labeled Askren a ‘w—–‘ who tries to ‘demean’ other fighters, and it seemed inevitable that the two would clash inside of the Octagon.

Both Askren’s and Till’s careers went in a similar direction as the Brit also left the UFC in 2022 after several losses, looking for a big payday in boxing.

However, despite their historical feud, the former UFC welterweight title challenger has offered some words of support for Askren.

“Heard Ben Askren is in some kind of condition that’s quite heavy,” Till said in a post on X.

This has been adjudicated to death. You are surmising something from your personal experience about a death certificate that doesn’t exist.

Believe what ya want.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. What am I saying that you disagree with?

Out of curiosity, how was your health prior to the Fauci flu?

Did you take any prescription medications beforehand?

Did you take any supplements before Covid?

Dude’s gotta be in a coma at this point.

I ain’t trying to hijack the thread. Was just pointing out how bad pneumonia is.

Hope Ben gets better. Sucks that it’s gotten this bad.

Very healthy, very strong, worked out 4-5 days a week with weights and jiu jitsu 3 days a week. I was on one blood pressure medication, without the med my bp was 130/90 so really more of a precaution than requirement. Doctors told me repeatedly there is no reason why some people got so sick and they thought it was possible that it was a genetic factor.

I’m pretty glad I made it through the pandemic- 5+ years and more coming of all this AIDS going around.

Now they’re projecting it will increase with the defunding of Medicaid and the CDC.

Respiratory illness’s scare the shit out of me. I’ve never had anything serious, but the ones I have had take forever to completely go away, like up to 3 months. And there doesn’t seem to be effective treatment like other ailments.

My brother in law died from the same situation. He was also in good shape and early 40s. You were definitely lucky.

DC says Ben is out of the hospital and at home with his family. Sounds like he’s still sick but good enough to return home.
