If Bo won last night he would be completely insufferable.
I’ve listened to him in interviews and it’s like he believed he could take anyone down at will.
I hope Bo does a lot of cross training and comes back with me tools. Feed him a can to get his confidence back, maybe a name that he can best
Bo has always come off very smug all the way back to his college wrestling days but I still enjoy watching him compete, I don’t think he has it in him to be humble or get humbled.
I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He has it in him to be a good fighter, maybe even great.

Bo is just like Ben Askren. Two dorky white guys who are great at wrestling but have no business in the octagon. Neither have the fighter phenotype
He didn’t even look great wrestling Cody Brundage. It’s been obvious for a long time that American collegiate wrestling isn’t an easy transition into mma.
I don’t think he has shown anything to make anyone think he could be great.
It’s hard to wrestle if that’s plan A and you don’t set it up. I can stuff a lot of takedowns if I know it’s coming. It’s a lot harder when the guy is throwing good strikes
Bo has zero striking after training at least 3 solid years
Khamzat is a high level wrestler and natural born fighter. A killer instinct that you ether have or you don’t. Bo doesn’t have that

If Bo is such an elite wrestler he needs to go out there with fire and intensity. Shoot the double right away the way Khamzat does. But he doesn’t do that cause its not in him
I think he has more potential than Askren in striking but Askren had far, far better grappling. Bo is a grappler, period. And two fights in a row he was afraid to grapple his opponent because he thought they might be better than him. That’s a really big problem for him and I think he will never sniff the top 5.

And I’m not sure he would out grapple the top guys at 170 either. Sean Brady probably subs him after beating him up.
